Courses and Training

The Climate Change, Energy, Food and Cities in Asia and the Pacific 2015 is a real-time, video-conference based course that connects classrooms in Honolulu, Bangkok, Tokyo, Naha, Apia and Melbourne.

The course has been jointly developed by a network of universities and is integrated with existing courses at each university. For example, at the University of Hawaii, the course complements PLAN 625 on Environmental Planning. In 2015, RMIT University is participating in the course as an observer. The course has been jointly run since 2003 in different formats and has been successfully completed by over 900 students.
